Challenges

WebEx Training Center is a web conferencing service tailored for on-line training needs. I have been the chief designer for WebEx Training Center since 2001. Over the years, the product has graduated from a simple tool to a complex feature-rich application. Many functionalities have been added and improvements have been made to improve the user experience. With each enhancement, the challenge is to improve the product without disrupting existing users.

The following pages illustrate how specific user interface elements are improved over the years, and how design decisions were made.
