Overview

I worked in Razorfish from 2000 to 2001 as an information architect. I was a key member to re-model the information structure of Cisco.com, which previously consisted of more than 100,000 static HTML pages. I succeeded in designing an information hierarchy for the products area and produced more than 150 pages of schematics with good usability test results. I was also responsible for designing the page layout of the main entry point to the website, in which I worked with designers, content analysts, developers and client business owners to produce the final prototype.

Design Workflow and Process

I worked with project managers, designers, developers, content analysts, functional analysts, usability analysts, client business owners, and the client IT team to ensure that the website can fulfill the users' goals and tasks. Each of these interactions are essential to the quality and consistency of the work output.

In such a huge project the working process is also vital to its success. Since it is the first time that our group encounter a project of this scale, we refined our process along the way.
